Easy Apple Pie Recipe

Ingredients

  • 5-6 Large Apples
  • 1/2 Stick Salted Butter
  • 1/3 Cup Brown Sugar
  • 1/2 Cup Sugar
  • 1/2 Tbsp Cinnamon
  • 1 Tbsp Flour
  • 2 Premade Pie Crusts

Instructions

  • Preheat oven to 350 degrees
  • Peel, core, and slice apples
  • In a medium saucepan, melt butter on medium heat
  • Add apples and stir to coat with butter
  • Whisk together sugars, cinnamon, and flour
  • Add sugar mixture to apples and stir to cover evenly
  • Cook on low for 10-15 minutes, or until apples are tender, stirring occasionally
  • Unroll one pie crust and add to the bottom of a pie dish
  • Add pie fill, and cover with second pie dough
  • You can leave the top dough in one piece, and cut a couple of slits, or slice the dough and make a woven top.
  • Make sure to crimp the bottom and top dough together around the edges
  • Bake pie for 20 minutes or until crust is golden. You can put pie under broiled or use and egg wash on the top to help brown if needed.
