Easy Homemade Pasta Sauce

Homemade Pasta Sauce Made with Cherry Tomatoes

Equipment

Ingredients

  • 30 oz Grape or Cherry Tomatoes About 3 small containers full from the grocery store
  • 2 tbsp Oil
  • 2 tsp Ground Garlic
  • 1 tbsp Dried Minced Onion
  • 1 tsp Crushed Red Pepper
  • 2-3 tsp Salt
  • 2-3 tsp Italian Seasoning

Instructions

  • Preheat Oven to 400 degrees
  • Wash Tomatoes and Place on Cookie Sheet
  • Toss Tomatoes in Oil and 1 tsp Garlic Powder
  • Cook @ 400 for 25 minutes, or until tomatoes start to burst open and turn slightly golden
  • Add Tomatoes and juice from cookie sheet to Blender along with remaining ingredients (I leave a few tomatoes out for garnishing)
  • Pulse for a few seconds or until sauce is your desired consistency
  • Add Salt and Pepper to Taste
  • Serve on top of your Favorite Pasta, and finish with a sprinkle of Parmesan Cheese and a few Roasted Tomatoes for Garnish
