Cheese Ball Dip

Cheese Ball Dip is a spin on a classic cheeseball. Made with all your favorite ingredients. Growing up, Classic Cheese Ball was a staple at every big dinner or get-together. You know the one…beef, cream cheese, green onion…yum. I don’t know if it is because they are so delicious, or because it was always the first thing ready to eat. I’m gonna say both.

I have been making cheese balls literally since I was a kid. We had Sunday dinners after church, and one of the main kitchen jobs, for the kids, was to make the appetizer. Probably because it can get a little messy, and the adults wanted to keep their hands clean. Or maybe because it was one of the only things I was qualified to do.

Easy Appetizer or Lunch?

Cheese Balls are the perfect appetizer because they are so easy to whip up, and they can sit out at room temperature. I love easy dips, sometimes I make some just for myself and eat it for lunch all week. If I haven’t mentioned before, I am a big snacker. Don’t judge.

What is a Cheese Ball Dip made of?

For a Classic Ball you only need a few main ingredients; Beef, Green Onion, and Salt to taste. For Cheese Ball Dip I like to add in pineapple and mayonnaise. The pineapple and mayo helps take the texture from a ball to a dip.
