A bench at the end of the bed is a game changer. You can use it to store blankets or all sorts of stuff, and it makes your room look so nice. It also doubles as seating, and is the perfect place to sit and put your shoes on. The best part about this bench is that it comes in multiple different colors to match whatever decor you have.

You can mix new and old pieces to really make your home feel cozy and lived in. There is nothing worse than a home that looks like it was all purchased at the same store. A gallery wall is the perfect inexpensive way to fill up a wall rather than buying one big piece, you can add several smaller pieces together to create a beautiful piece of wall decor. How do you accessorize a bedroom?
An easy way to accessorize a bedroom is to pick a theme. I would say the theme of my master bedroom is neutral gold decor with natural elements, and tons of texture. I like to repurpose things and use them for something unexpected. For example, I like hanging baskets on the walls to create an interesting piece of art.
I also love to bring the outdoors inside, and I think every room of my house looks a little better with a plant. My favorite plant is my bird of paradise. I have really had good luck with it, and I am not one to baby my plants.
How can I make my bedroom look cozy?
Simple cozy bedding that is pretty, yet still functional for your nightly routine is a great way to make your bedroom look cozy. My husband really hates all my throw pillows, but this set up has really worked for us. So instead of layering tons of pillows, try adding layers in your blankets and textiles.
I added a big brown fur blanket under our plain white duvet, and the rest of the pillows are Goodwill finds from years past. All that was left was to strategically place a few throw covers at the foot of the bed, and the rest is history.
